Auli is a Himalayan ski resort and hill station in Uttarakhand. It is situated in Chamoli district. It is a smallest place in Uttarakhand but enusre lots of adventure and experience for the tourist. It is surrounded by oak forests and offer a panoramic view of the peaks of the Himalayas. It is located at an elevation of 8,200 ft – 10,010 ft above sea . Auli appears on the way of Badrinath
Auli, is suppose to be paradise for skier’s during the winter season. The favorable period from November to March is generally considered optimum for skiers. As the winters reach at its peak, the mountain seems to extend to the clouds with arms of snow. Generally Skiers are provided with clean landscape of 10-20 km of snow covered mountain slopes.
Uttarakhand Tourism Department encourage skiing here by conducting sports competitions during winter.
It has 4 kilometres cable car, a chairlift and a ski lift with a well managed and continuous monitoring of trek route.

November is consider ideal for Honeymoon couples. Temarature may vary 2 to 10°C.
The temperature maintain at 20°C in summer. But it may vary from -4°C to 10°C during winter.
How To Reach
By Air – The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, far away 270 kilometres from Auli.
By Road – Regular road services are available from Delhi, Dehradun, Rishikesh and Hardwar to Joshimath. From Joshimath jeeps must be hire on the way to Auli. Further, one can also trek the five kilometer between Joshimath and Auli.
